[21062013] - Fuselage

Got to attach the wings and tail to something ....

21/06/2013 - Drilling, countersinking and riveting fibreglass

But first a picture of our new lathe.  The old one could not cut it anymore (sorry no pun intended :-)) so we bought this rather lovely MyFord 7.

Anyway drilling and riveting was required today and it did not take too long to get everything on. Nut plates were awkward and required some dismantling to get done

Now for the filling.  We got plenty done, but still plenty to do including bunging up the ends of the leading quarters with fibreglass

One other last job is to make sure I have fitted the manual trim cable.

Next time, it will be finishing off the tail, jobs to be done

Araldite Tinnermans to the stabilizing fairing for wear and tear.

And then that will be the tail and all associated parts ready for final painting, along with the wings.  Nearly at the finishing kit & FFW for real now
